Beaten

I think that the text that says "He paused and glanced at my house. He did not have to say it again; I understood his meaning. I was beaten.", is an important piece of text  in the book Thirst NO.1 because this was the last thing that Sita, or in other words Alisa, was thinking before she got taken away from her husband and child, Lalita. That was also the last thing she thought of before she got turned into a vampire. I think that the text was an important piece of text in Thirst NO.1 because Sita then felt the first time of being defeated by Yaksha. The last reason why I think that this was an important text in the story was because Sita finally knew how Yaksha was and what he wanted of her after all that time they have spend together.

Life Changing Decision

I think that the quote "You knew Amba better than any of us. You would best know if this life that moves inside of her is evil or good. If you know for sure in your heart that it is evil, then strike it dead. None of the men here will blame you for the act” from the book Thirst NO.1 (on page 53 in the book) is an important part/quote in the book. This quote is important in the story because Alisa was the one that had the choice of killing the baby or to keep it alive. What happened was that her dad and some of the other church people in town (6 people) and a priest were going to summon a devil or something of that sort to get rid of a deadly disease killing the people of the village/town. Alisa was there during the ceremony of the summoning of the yakshini (the devil) was given the choice of killing the baby in her friends belly or to save it. She didn’t know what to do then, so she let the baby live, and because of that decision she made to let the baby live, she got taken away from her family, her daughter and husband, by Yaksha (the baby Alisa couldn’t kill when she was a child), so then I would say that Alisa chose her own destiny. I think that this is an important quote in the story because this was the choice that led Alisa to becoming a vampire and changing her life forever. I also think that this was an important quote in the book Thirst NO.1 because this led Alisa to following Yaksha, as his bride and to live for all eternity.

What character should I be? (Thirst NO.1)

If I could be any character in the book "Thirst NO.1", I would most likely choose to be Alisa Perne, the main character of the book. I would like to be her because she has lots of "adventures" in her part. Being her in  the story seems fun to me because she has many problems to solve and many people to kill. She is also a nice person but then sometimes she has to choose the bloody path and has to kill people in order to protect herself or the people she cares about. Even though she is a vampire, she does not kill the people she drinks blood from, and that's why I want to be her in the story. She is nice and can care for people and not just KILL for a living.

My 2nd book (Thirst NO.1)

 
This picture connects to my second book that I'm reading by both the picture and my book being about a vampire girl. The rose in the vampires hand is suppose to represent Alisa's (the main character of the book "Thirst NO.1") soft or sensitive side, and how their lives are heading at the moment. The rose is also suppose to represent Alisa's gentle, kind, and understanding side of her.
