The book "Scorpia" reminds me of a movie I saw......

The book "Scorpia" reminds me of a movie that I watched a while back. The movie that I saw that reminds me of the book is "Mission Impossible". It might seem funny and all, but then it's true. The reason for this is mostly because both of them involve a spy in it. For ex: "Mission Impossible" involves a adult spy, while "Scorpia" involves a teen spy, also both of them save the world from something. An  example of that is that Alex, the main character in the book "Scorpia", is saving the people of London from a plan that Scorpia has created to kill all of the people there, or at least the kids living in London, for a client that has hired them to do so, while for the main character in "Mission Impossible", he has to save the world, or the girl he loves from a deadly injection that can be removed from her body by having the antidote or something of that sort.

Picture

This picture is suppose to represent Alex running away from something because Alex is a teen spy that is running away from someone or something all the time. So then I thought that this picture would be a great picture to represent something in the book Scorpia.

Truth

I think that the quote "They found out that your father was still alive and that he was flying to France and they arranged for a bomb to be placed in the luggage. Your parents died together Alex. I suppose that's something of a mercy. And it was all so quick. They wouldn't have had any idea..." from the book "Scorpia" (on page 304) was an important quote in the story because Alex had finally found out the truth and had found out that M16, or Ms.Jones didn't kill his father and that it was Scorpia themselves that killed him. This is an important part in the book because Alex had realised that the reason he thought of was completely wrong and that his father died in a plane crash. I also think that this quote was an important quote in the story because Alex thought that there may still be a slim chance that his dad may be alive. This happened in Alan Blunts office after the incident with Alex saving London from the grasps of Scorpia's plan. After this happens, Alex walks out of the office and gets shot/killed by a sharpshooter hired by Scorpia to kill him.

Goodbye

I think that the quote "I'm fine, Tom. Goodbye...." from the book "Scorpia" (on page 130) was an important quote in the story because that was the last thing he had said to his best friend, Tom, and that was the last time that he had heard from his friend. I think that this was an important quote in the story because when Alex said that to Tom, he felt that this was the last time that he had contact with the outside world and with his friend. I also think that this was an important quote in the story because Alex had not been too happy to hang up the phone on his friend and had felt a wave of sadness over him when he did hang up the phone. This took place in Alex's suite in the hotel. After this happens, Alex thinks about what he has just decided to do.

Destiny

I think that the quote "Go to Venice and find your destiny" was an important part in the story "Scorpia" (on page 126) because Alex had started his adventure and had started his search for the person who killed his father at that place, Venice. I think that it was an important quote because Alex had chosen to go there in hope to find someone who had information about his dad in Venice because of that quote that someone said. I also think that Alex thought that "This place may be the only place with people there that knew my dad" and went there for finding that information that he wanted. This took place in the hotel room, the same as the others. After this happens, Alex goes to Venice to go find information on his father.

Joining Scorpia

I think that the quote "I want to join Scorpia", is an important quote in the story "Scorpia" (on page 126)because now, Alex, the main character in the story, has joined Scorpia and has chose to betray M16 because of the fact that they have killed his father, a father he never knew, and never seen. I think that this quote is an important part in the story because Alex had chosen the path of killing because he had now figured out who killed his dad. I also think that this was an important quote in the story because Alex wants to get revenge on the person who had given the command to kill his dad during the Albert Bridge trade. This happened in Ms.Rothman's room and happened at the time when Alex and her were talking about Alex's father and his death. After this happens, Alex goes on a mission to kill Ms.Jones.

Betrayed

The quote "It seems that M16 wanted the son back, but they weren't prepared to pay with your father's freedom", from the book "Scorpia" (on page 123), is an important part of the book because the main character, Alex, finally figured out that M16 betrayed him and killed his father without him even knowing. It was also an important part in the book because that quote said from Mrs.Rothman had changed his mind to join Scorpia and to turn his back on M16, the spy corporation that he believed that "betrayed him" and turned his life around and messed everything up for him. Alex believed that M16 had really betrayed him, so then he had his own choice to join Scorpia himself. This happened in a room that Ms.Rothman was renting at that time. After this happens, Alex then decides to join Scorpia.

Scorpia

What I liked about this book is that the author clearly states the main idea and doesn't leave you wondering what it was. Another thing that I liked about the book "Scorpia", is that the main character is 14 years old and has to take care of his school duties along with living the life of a 14 year old spy. I wouldn't like to change anything about the book, just because this book is so interesting and is already a good book to read. I woiuld recommend this book to people who love to read action/spy books.
