Connection

This book that I read "Thirst NO.1" reminds me of the movie called "The Haunting In Connecticut". It reminds me of that movie because both the book and the movie have horror in it. (Ex. When Sita kills the woman in the bathroom while trying to escape, her brains were everywhere..., and "The Haunting In Connecticut" is a horror movie). Another reason that the book "Thirst NO.1" reminds me of the movie "The Haunting In Connecticut" because the main character of them have to do with a person with something abnormal of a disease in them. The main character in "Thirst NO.1", Sita/Alisa, is a vampire that is 5 thousand years old. The main character in "The Haunting In Connecticut" has cancer and is getting treatment at a far away hospital.

The theme of Thirst NO.1

I think that the theme of the book "Thirst NO.1" is about how just because you live for a long time, it doesn't mean that you can't make the same mistakes as before. Another thing that I think that is the theme of the book is that love can be hard to find, and hard to get, but then love can be either given or taken away, and of how love can be the thing that can cause you to break down after you loose that loved person.

Death

 I think that the quote "Then you should never have been born.", is an important quote in the book Thirst NO.1 (on page 112) because that is Alisa's (Sita's current name in the book) favorite line to say before she kills a person and they whine while she is about to kill them. This may sound cruel and all, but then Alisa only says that because all people get born and then die after a while, so then it's true. I think that this is an important quote in the book Thirst NO.1 because this quote shows Alisa's sincerity in the story and it also shows her "evil" side in a way (what the people in the story think when she is about to kill them).

Sita's true feelings for Yaksha

I think that the quote "Hate and fear and love are all in the heart. I felt that when he played his flute. I don't just hate you. I didn't just fear you.", is an important quote in the book Thirst NO.1 (on page 193). This is taking place in Sita's Mayfair home when she was trying to kill Yaksha (her vampire creator) with some explosives in her house. I think that this is an important quote in the book because this quote tells you how Sita actually feels about her creator. I think that this quote is important because Sita never told Yaksha about how she felt about him besides how she hates him for taking away her lkove and her family. So then this must be a surprise for Yaksha becaue he most likely never knew about what Sita actually thought of him besides how she hates him. After this happens, Sita runs out of the house and runs into the forrest near her house and gets a stake through her heart. Ray tries to save her but then can't take out the stake fully and breaks half of it off. Sita then passes out and the story starts off in a new chapter afterwards.

Beyond the face

I think that the quote "Look beyond the face and you will see me" from the book Thirst NO.1 (on page 73) is an important quote in the story because Sita remembered Krishna this way. I think that this was an important quote in the story because Sita remembers this quote to remember Krishna to ask him for advise of the world and advise on life and such. Sita loves Krishna as a lord and as a person, so then I think that this quote would be important in the story, just because it is important to Sita.

Love

I think that the quote "Time cannot destroy it. I am that love-time cannot touch me. Time but changes the form. Somewhere in some time it will return.When you least expect it, the face of a loved one reappears. Look beyond the face and-" is an important quote in the story Thirst NO.1 (on page 69) because Sita recalls that memory of Krishna saying that and then remembers him from it. This quote is important to Sita and is said from Krishna, Sita's "Lord". I think that this is an important quote in the story Thirst NO.1 because Sita thinks of that memory and hopes to see her love, her husband and daughter, again one day, or to have a new love and a new family built. Sita finds this very important, so then I would say that this a very important quote in the story.
