The book that I finished reading recently is called "Thirst No.2" by Christopher Pike. I liked how this book has specific details through-out the book to give you more information on what is happening in the book, or even about how the character is feeling as of that moment. I think that this book is good and should not be changed in any way, and also because it is not my work, so then I don't think that I have the right to just change the story. The one thing that I disliked about the book is how when a situation is taking place in the story, sometimes the author doesn't give another persons perspective about the situation, just the main character, Alisa's point of view.
The main conflict in the book was that Alisa had to get Paula's baby back to her without James/Ogre giving the baby to his species and and them killing it. The baby is a "chosen baby", as in Paula's baby that got kidnapped by James is the reincarnation of "God", or in other words, her baby is the reincarnation of "Jesus". This conflict lead Alisa to think of a very tough decision. Alisa had to think of whether to kill her daughter, Kalika, or to save her when the time is needed. This was a tough decision for Alisa because she loved her daughter, like a mother should, and she just couldn't stand killing the daughter that she loved so much.

Alisa's Change
I think that the text chunk "I am human", I whisper to myself ", on page 7 in the book Thirst No.2 is an important part in the book because this text shows us how Sita turned into a human and how she had changed her name to Alisa to cover up her past. I think that this text chunk is important because this shows how Alisa has to get used to the fact that she is now human and of how she now has to get into the mind of being a human and not a vampire anymore. I think that this text chunk is also important because it shows how Alisa went to extremes to get to her old life as a human again. Before this was being said by Alisa, she was at Arturo's house doing a process from one of his creations to turn her back into a human. Alisa was done with the process a short time after and when she got up from the silver plates she was on, she was feeling weak and her vision was blurry. Alisa became curious as to the fact if she was human or not, so then she pinched her palm and then it bled and the cut did not heal right away. She then said that quote because she knew that she was now human and no longer a vampire.

Thirst NO.2 Sita/Alisa and the Setting
The main character of the book Thirst NO.2 is Sita, or in other words, Alisa. Alisa is nice, caring and used to be a vampire. Alisa was the vampire named Sita, but then since she used Arturo's mechanism to turn herself back into a human, she is now using the name of Alisa. Alisa killed practically all of the people who new that she was a vampire or that were her friends, but then she didn't kill Seymour, one of her friends. Alisa is also sensitive to some of her emotions, so then she can always let her emotions take over what she is doing and all.Alisa also has a child named Kalika in this book, so then she does whatever she can to try and protect her baby.
This story takes place in a bunch of places, so then I feel too lazy to name them all, but then some of the places that this book takes place in is Las Vegas, Santa Monica, and Beverly Hills. This book is taking place in today's time period. This is important because it tells us when Alisa turned into a human and how long she has waited for that moment of turning into a human and also about the approximate time that she had been a vampire.

New Book
The book that I recently read is "Tempted: A House of Night Novel". This book was sort of interesting in a way, for me that is. The book is revolving around a girl named Zoey and her friends. It is about how Zoey Redbird and her friends having to try and save the world from Kalona and his new partner Neferet. Zoey and her friends have to stop Kalona before he tries to get Zoey to go with him/create a new world with him. Zoey is the reincarnation of a maiden named A-ya that was created to love Kalona. Zoey finds a clue to what she could do to destroy Kalona from Aphrodite's vision and starts to think about what she did to destroy him. The new book that I'm reading is called "Thirst NO.2". It is a vampire book. The story revolves around a girl named Alisa, or in other words, Sita. Sita is now human because she had turned into a human from a contraption made by her long ago lover. She now has to face the fact that she is now human, so then she is now more vulnerable, and in her thoughts KILL-ABLE. Sita is being careful about what she was doing until her recent lover, Ray, returned from the "dead" and came back to see her. Sita and Ray now have a baby to raise and once it is born, Sita notices that it is not normal, since it needs to drink blood for food. Once Kalika (Sita's baby) grows up, she starts to kill people and then kidnaps Paula's baby (Paula is one of Sita's friends). Sita tries to get the baby back and soon figures out that Kalika was trying to protect the baby and not hurt it, but it was when Kalika was dying, so then it was too late to save her.

Heath and Zoey
"I don't see how. I don't even know what to do about you" (on page 45). Before this happens, Zoey and her friends have just scheduled a meeting in Zoey's and Aphrodite's room (they are roommates) about what they can do to try and destroy Kalona. Stark gets Zoey and brings her to the empty cafeteria to drink blood from Heath to make her feel better. After Stark leaves and Zoey is left alone with Heath, Zoey and Heath start to talk to each other and Zoey says this after Heath says something about how Zoey will find a solution to all of her problems. I think that this quote is important in the book "Tempted: A House of Night Novel" because this shows how the main character, Zoey, is trusting in her friends to give her some support for her decision of what to do about some things. Heath is telling Zoey that it is going to be OK and of how she will make it through the Kalona situation alright. I also think that this quote is important because this quote shows how Zoey and Heath have a close relationship and of how Heath will always put his support behind Zoey and that's just what she needed at a time like that.

Zoey's Gone
"When she threw spirit at Kalona, Zoey knew that she was too late, and her soul shattered. I know because I'm bound to her soul and I felt it shatter. Zoey's not here anymore. This is just her empty shell." (on page 317). Right before this happened, Stark found Zoey and was about to run to her, until Zoey threw spirit at Kalona and there her lifeless body falls to the ground. Zoey's friends (Aphrodite, Stark, Darius, Erin Shaunnee, and etc.) run to Zoey and Stark says this after all of her friends are trying to save her from dying. I think that this quote is important in the book "Tempted: A House of Night Novel" because this quote shows how the main character "dies". This quote is also important in the book because this quote shows the new situation that is occurring in the book and then it is also showing how the main character reacts to the loss of one of her friends/ her high school sweetheart.
Trouble!
"Zoey! She's in trouble!" (on page 315). Before this occurred, Zoey was going to find Heath because she thought she heard his voice through spirit, one of her many powers, asking her to hurry up and come help him. So then Zoey is trying to find Heath and find him with Kalona, with the fact that Kalona was going to kill him. Zoey runs and tries to save Heath. Stark goes to the meeting room and stumbles by Zoey's emotions. Her friends and Stark go to find Zoey. I think that this is an important quote in the book "Tempted: A House of Night Novel" because this quote shows how Zoey was in danger and needed some help from Stark. This shows Stark's ability to sense all of Zoey's emotions and how he would give his life to protect her no matter what.
